Product Marketing Manager

A bit about the role:

As Product Marketing Manager for the business’s Tokenization Platform business unit, you will be responsible for the product marketing and sales enablement activities for their products. Your key responsibility will be to manage marketing materials (sales presentations, website content, product guides, etc), ensuring that they are relevant for their target audiences and are updated to reflect new features.  This will also
involve product messaging and positioning.  You will also work with relevant stakeholders (e.g. Product Management and Sales) to develop new materials according to the needs of the business. Furthermore, you will regularly distil complex, technical product information and translate this into impactful materials that compel target audiences to take action because, not only have features/benefits been clearly communicated, you have used great customer-facing language!


Your mission:

  • Updating/refreshing/creating marketing collateral across various formats
  • Ensuring that materials and messaging are fine-tuned and effective, according to the different audiences
  • Working closely with Product Management, Pre-Sales, and Sales to translate complex and technical information into language, style, tone that is more meaningful and impactful for audiences
  • Helping to define the product/value proposition and work on GTM activities, product positioning, messaging, as well as target market/segmentation activities
  • Following and analysing market trends and competitors
  • Act as the voice of the customer

Leadership Criteria

Minimum Qualifications


  • Graduate of marketing, digital marketing, or business-related field
  • 2-3 years’ experience developing product positioning and messaging, together with supporting product launches, ideally in the payments industry or in a technical/software/SaaS based industry
  • Familiarity with the latest marketing trends, tools, and techniques (e.g., social media, SEO, keywords etc)
  • Comfortable working in a team and in an office/remote environment, with colleagues from a range of cultures in multiple time zones
  • Ability to work effectively with PowerPoint and other Office products
  • Willingness to learn about digital wallets and payment tokenization
  • Able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders
  • Comfortable using multiple media formats
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Passion/interest in technical topics
  • Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Fluent in English


  • Graduate of technical/computer discipline
  • Copywriting and/or creative design experience
  • Familiarity with updating websites
  • Awareness of payments/fintech/banking industry and associated technology
  • Some understanding of the SDLC
  • Competent with Adobe software e.g., InDesign
  • Fluent in Norwegian
